California Air Resources Board. Dear Senator De Saulnier
As a life time member of the
construction industry and a lifetime resident of Contra Costa County,
I have seen many accomplishments and credits of all of us in our
communities. However the recent actions (AB 32 among them) of CARB
are totally out of control. I look to you as a leader in our
political community to put tabs on actions which are consistent with
the public’s wishes. CARB NEEDS TO BE ELIMINATED. Industry, labor,
farmers, & others are pulling together to put responsibility back
into government. I don’t think you would like to see your name on a
sign on the back of a dump truck with thumbs pointing down.
I know you are intent on furthering
your political influence for our community. Believe me, people are
tired of the government expansion both in California &
Washington. If you want to maintain your political leadership, my
recommendation is to take leadership by cutting down the size of
government. Start with DUMPING CARB.
Yours very truly,
